The extraction of brandy alcohols and brandy producing was based on the classical French technology. Yerevan enterprise was first in Armenia which has been equipped by two brandy apparatuses of Sharantsky type and had suitable premises for brandy maturity with special conditions. Other Armenian brandy enterprises those times were actually as homemade industries.

Technology

White kinds of grape as Mshali, Voskeat, Kangun, Garandmak, Rkaziteli are used for producing of “Noah” brandies. A slight quantity of red grape kind with white pulp is acceptable. These kinds of grape are processed for brandy raw materials.

Awards

The Armenian brandy won medals and high awards “Grand Prix” on the international exhibitions, “Shustov” enterprise was awarded by great honor to become as provider to Russian court for His Imperial Majesty.
